With close to no real friends or simply connections in the real world, sitting lonely on his balcony, our founder was quite sad. He was wishing to life his life to the fullest and make memories he can think about when he can’t make memories anymore - but something was missing: The people to make those memories with.

The people who know how to make a memory out of a bad idea, who can help you get things started, who wanted to face their fear of missing out too - those people where nowhere to be found and he didn’t even know where to start looking. His social anxiety and awkwardness didn't make things much easier. It seemed to him as if you had to know people, to meet people - a paradox!

So he opened one of his various Social Media accounts. After a while he noticed, that most of the time he would encounter people that want to be friends with him to have one more view, like or share. People he would most certainly never meet in the real world, let alone people he would create a cherished memory with - so why even bother to be online, feed his fear of missing out, through seeing all the cool stuff people, but not him, did and still be socially isolated?

That was the moment when he decided not to waste anymore time wishing and hoping. He decided to take matters into his own hands: Right then and there he set his mind to create an app, that would help anyone, who feels the same way or similar to how he feels.

Everybody who needs a little help overcoming their anxiety and facing their fear of missing out. Everybody who wants to be more active and interact with people and not with accounts. Everybody who wants to do more with their time and simply wants to change their life for the better. Everybody feeling that way needs to be helped doing so.

The idea was quite simple: Let’s put the Social back into Social Media!
